I’m a lighting, video and control systems specialist with a focus on pixel mapping and LED technologies. I split my time between freelance projects, ON LX, and Advatek Lighting, working on everything from festivals and retail design to live shows and product development. My work is about making the underlying technology invisible so the creative vision stands out. I’ve worked across projects from corporate events and festivals to TV game shows and retail design, collaborating with manufacturers and production teams to bring creative ideas to life. My career began with hands-on LED installations and broadcast work, before moving into larger-scale event production and product development. I studied BSc Lighting Design Technology at the University of South Wales, where I also built custom media servers work that grew into ON LX after winning a lighting programming competition. I went on to work with Kinetic Pixel on shows like Pointless, and then moved to Melbourne to join ENTTEC as a Product Manager. What started as six months abroad turned into more than three years in product development, management and supporting projects worldwide. Outside of work, I’m often mountain biking, experimenting with new tech, or programming video and control systems for live shows and trade events.

Yes. I provide equipment rental for productions, including lighting fixtures, control hardware, and pixel-mapping infrastructure. I can combine rental with on-site programming and operation, or supply equipment dry-hire to your technical team.
Use the contact form on this site to share the venue, dates, and a brief description of the show or installation. I will respond with availability, a proposed approach, and a quote. For attraction and architectural projects, an early conversation about control infrastructure and pixel layouts saves time later.
Pixel mapping treats each LED in a fixture or installation as an addressable pixel that can play back video, animations, or generative content. It is useful for large LED facades, ride lighting elements, and immersive stage backdrops where individual pixels need to show different colours simultaneously. I can handle layout, mapping software (Madrix, Resolume, ENTTEC LED Mapper), and DMX/Art-Net distribution.
